Into the Wild #10
After finishing up Into the Wild a few weeks ago I really learned a lot about society. First off, I think in some cases Christopher was right about some things. How people can be so nasty to each other and that everyone worries about money. I do not think you should risk your life about because I am sure a man as smart as Christopher could find a solution to this problem. As much as it seems awesome to live in the Alaskan Wilderness it is pretty dangerous especially when you are somewhat low on supplies and necesities. I often got tired on a 8 day boundry waters trip in which we were in the wilderness for around 5 days and I got tired just in that short time period. I can't imagine doing this. One of my favorite characters in this book is Wayne, Christopher's friend from the Dakotas. He is very similar to Chris but in a different sort of way. I think Wayne learns a lot from Chris and when Wayne gets arrested Christopher really has no reason to stay. Wayne gave him a job, placew to sleep, and tought him a lot about the fields and even got some helpful people to give Chris hints and tips towards his goal.
